By using The Light Nation Church sites, services, and mobile applications (together, “Light Nation”), whether as a guest or a registered user, you accept and agree to bound by these Terms. Please read these Terms carefully before you start to use Light Nation, as well as the Light Nation Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms or the Light Nation Privacy Policy you must not access or use Light Nation.

Light Nation is offered by The Light Nation Church, (“we” or “us”). We may revise and update these Terms from time to time at our sole discretion and in accordance with extant Nigerian laws in force. Any changes are effective when we post them. Your continued use of Light Nation following the posting of revised Terms means that you accept and agree to the changes.

Where Light Nation has provided you with a translation other than the English language version of the Terms of Use, then you agree that the translation is provided for your convenience only and that the English language version of the Terms of Use will govern your relationship with Light Nation. If there is any contradiction between what the English language version of the Terms of Use says and what a translation says, then the English language version shall take precedence.

While we hope to always offer Light Nation guest and its registered subscribers their peculiar features, we reserve the right to change or cease offering Light Nation or any part portion or functionality of Light Nation without notice. We will not be liable if for any reason all or any part of Light Nation is unavailable at any time.

All information we collect on or through Light Nation is subject to our Privacy Policy. By using Light Nation, you consent to all actions taken by us in compliance with the Privacy Policy.

Light Nation contains interactive features that allow users to post, submit, publish, display, or transmit to other users or other persons content or materials (collectively, “User Contributions”) on or through Light Nation. However, we do not undertake to review User Contributions or any other material before it is posted on or through Light Nation, and cannot ensure prompt removal of objectionable material after it has been posted. So, we assume no liability for any action or inaction regarding transmissions, communications, or content provided by any user or third party.

All User Contributions must comply with these Terms. By providing any User Contribution on or through Light Nation, you grant us and our service providers, and each of their and our respective licensees, successors, and assigns, the right to use, reproduce, modify, perform, display, license, distribute, and otherwise disclose to third parties any such material in order to offer Light Nation. You represent and warrant that you own or control all rights in and to the User Contributions and have the right to grant this license and that all of your User Contributions do and will comply with these Terms. We are not responsible or liable to any third party for the content or accuracy of any User Contributions posted by you or any other user of Light Nation.

Light Nation allows users to create an account (“Guest or Registered Users”) which requires providing certain information to The Light Nation Church. If you choose or are provided with a user name, password, or similar information as part of our security procedures, you agree to treat such information as confidential, and agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your user name or password or any other breach of security. We have the right to disable any user name, password, or other identifier, whether chosen by you or provided by us, at any time if, in our opinion, you have violated any provision of these Terms.

The information presented on or through Light Nation is made available solely for general information purposes. Although we strive to provide information found on Light Nation in various languages, translations to languages other than English of Light Nation content are provided to us by other parties and we do not represent or warrant the accuracy of those translations. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of this information. Any reliance you place on such information is strictly at your own risk. We disclaim all liability and responsibility arising from any reliance placed on such materials by you or any other visitor to Light Nation, or by anyone who may be informed of any of its contents.

Light Nation and its contents, features, and functionality (including but not limited to all information, software, text, displays, images, video, and audio, and the design, selection, and arrangement of the same), are owned by The Light Nation Church, its licensors, or other providers of such material and are protected by the Federal Republic of Nigeria and international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

The Light Nation name and logo, The Light Nation Church name and logo, App Icon logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks and/or copyright of The Light Nation Church. You must not use these marks and copyright without the prior written permission of The Light Nation Church. All other names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans on Light Nation are the trademarks of their respective owners.

THE LIGHT NATION CHURCH HEREBY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND FITNESS FOR PARTICULAR PURPOSE.

IN NO EVENT WILL THE LIGHT NATION CHURCH, ITS LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, OR ANY OF THEIR EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, OFFICERS, OR DIRECTORS BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR USE, OR INABILITY TO USE, YOUVERSION, ANY WEBSITES LINKED TO IT, ANY CONTENT OFFERED ON OR THROUGH LIGHT NATION, OR SUCH OTHER WEBSITES OR ANY SERVICES OR ITEMS OBTAINED THROUGH LIGHT NATON, INCLUDING ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PERSONAL INJURY, PAIN AND SUFFERING, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, LOSS OF DATA, AND WHETHER CAUSED BY TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), BREACH OF CONTRACT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF FORESEEABLE.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless The Light Nation Church, its affiliates, licensors, and service providers, and its and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, agents, licensors, suppliers, successors, and assigns from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of Light Nation including, but not limited to, your User Contributions, any use of Light Nation content, services, and products other than as expressly authorized in these Terms or your use of any information obtained from Light Nation.

All matters, disputes, or claims relating to Light Nation and these Terms (including non-contractual disputes or claims), shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the Federal Republic Nigeria without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule. Any legal suit, action or proceeding arising out of, or related to, these Terms or Light Nation shall be instituted exclusively in the appropriate courts with jurisdiction in the Federal Republic of Nigeria. By agreeing to these Terms and using Light Nation, you waive any and all objections to the exercise of jurisdiction over you by such courts and to venue in such courts.

Light Nation may only waive its rights under these Terms in writing. If any provision of these Terms is held by a court or other tribunal of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable for any reason, such provision shall be eliminated or limited to the minimum extent such that the remaining provisions of these Terms will continue in full force and effect.

These Terms and our Privacy Policy constitute the sole and entire agreement between you and The Light Nation Church with respect to Light Nation and supersede all prior and contemporaneous understandings, agreements, representations, and warranties, both written and oral, with respect to Light Nation.

Light Nation is operated by The Light Nation Church, an Incorporated Trustee registered under the Companies and Allied Matters Act in the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
